Mobile data collection follows a simple three stage process. Non of the stages require a high level of technical expertise and can be done without recourse to your IT department.
Survey Design. First you design you survey on you desktop Windows PC. The design is easy to do and uses a menu driven approach.
Collect Data. Then you send this survey design to you handheld computers and your mobile works start collecting data out on site.
Analysis. Finally the data collected on the handhelds is transferred back to base from the handheld pocket PCs for subsequent analysis by a spreadsheet of database.
